BARQ joined SELMARQ in 2005 as lead brand hound, but his experience in marketing spans decades. His ability to sniff out brand killers has been sharpened by his work with litters of companies and scores of sales and marketing managers. Love of nature and respect for other creatures as well as ingenuity and appreciation for hard work are products of BARQ’s New England breed. BARQ spent his early career in the Midwestern manufacturing belt. Yet assignments have taken him to many regions, from the mountainous Western states to the EU.
Not afraid to get his paws dirty, BARQ likes to dig deep into HOW things work, often meticulously dismantling a product or process before committing thought to paper. An insatiable reader, our industrious mascot applies the wisdom of literature, sociology and history to daily marketing challenges.
